We deliver bespoke education packages that are constructively aligned and tailored to promote prevention, legislative compliance, safety, recovery, and compassionate responses.
This is achieved through the creation of safe spaces for education that are grounded in respect, reflective practice, and appropriate vulnerability. Responding to disclosures of family Violence and/or sexual assault
Target Audience: Foundation to Expert Packages available By the end of the training you will be able to: - Define family violence, sexual assault, and trauma- Recall signs of family violence and/or sexual assault presenting in a Victim/survivor- Summarise the barriers students experience when disclosing family violence, sexual assault, and/or trauma- Apply safe trauma practices when making targeted inquiring about a person (and their dependent/s) safety and experiences - Know what to say when a student discloses family violence and/or sexual assault- Analyse an interaction with a student to determine what statements are needed to be expressed to a student- Create a safety plan for a student experiencing family violence or sexual assault - Apply a somatic strategy to calm your own and/or a student’s nervous systembuilding capacity to support children who have experienced trauma in the classroom
Target Audience: Beginner to Expert packages available By the end of the training you will be able to: - Improve confidence in providing safe and supported care to students presenting with behaviours and symptoms of trauma. - Understanding the building blocks of recovery from trauma, and how schools can provide safe and stable environments and relationships to support this recovery. - Be able to handle disclosures of sexual assault and/or family violence and make appropriate referrals - Hold language to support talking about how you are coping at work and learn strategies to minimise vicarious trauma for staff. ->Option to add a resourcing service: Individualised information sheets for staff and students.Introduction to Family Violence thinking in your practice

Target Audience: Beginner to Expert Packages available By the end of the training you will be able to: - Identify behavioural trauma symptoms in children and how they commonly present in the classroom and home - Understand the impact of trauma on the nervous system using a predominantly Polyvagal theory perspective - Using the Polyvagal mapping technique to feel confident identifying how the nervous system can be targeted when supporting children and youth - Be able to apply an array of somatic techniques that engage the nervous system to support regulation in children and youthThe pathway to Successful AASW Mental Health accreditation - Basic knowledge, Tips, and tricks
Target Audience: Foundation to Expert Packages available By the end of the training you will be able to: - Identify the requirements of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) to become accreditation - Identify the experience required for success - Learn what you can expect during the process ( time frames, success rate, etc. ) - Learn writing skills in order to succinctly present your knowledge - Develop Assessment, Case formulation skills and put them into practice - Learn the SMART goal setting technique - Know where to access Resources (Podcast, Facebooks groups, reading, etc.) that will enhance you preparation
